Allison Duda Kahler is a Cleveland, Ohio-based creative with more than a decade of experience in art direction and design.

Allison’s experience includes art directing and designing for various magazine titles:  TIME Magazine, Time Out New York, New York Magazine, and People StyleWatch, Hour Detroit, and a career start working the features and news desk at a Gannett newspaper. Using her editorial knowledge and expertise, Allison transitioned into communication design and art direction. She currently works for Gap Inc.

Her largest inspiration comes from constantly consuming pop culture, music, sports and fashion, and how each of these industries all have one thing in common: design and a visual imprint.

“I believe when culture is paired with great design this not only creates human engagement and experience, but creates a historical footprint of the present moment. I am obsessed with culture, art, music, and visuals not only because it's a huge interest, but because it is a reflection of an evolving society. Cultural shifts often happen in society with the help of polished, refined art and design. From iconography to color palettes, to a attractive photography and design, well-executed ideas reflect growth and cultural change, and I love being a part of it.”

Allison is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and happy to be back home after 15 years living in other parts of the country. Allison draws much of her inspiration from her surroundings and environment, and is happy to be back in Cleveland. She is excited to contribute to the great culture of the city she calls home.
