Hour Detroit Best of Detroit

Creative direction and design for the annual Best of Detroit package. This year’s party was at the historic The Fillmore Theater in Detroit, and the direction was inspired by the venue.

The color palette rich, luxe jewel tones, the photography lit in a spotlight and heavily contrasted style, and a mixture of shiny textures and draped fabric enhanced the theater vibes. We photographed various winners using similar draped fabrics and photographed some on location at The Fillmore. The design reflected the tone established by the photo direction.
